Assessments

Awareness begins with a mirror, a collection of self-tests.

Expanded "Life Position" Assessment

Life is full of stories we tell ourselves, about who we are, and about others. The Life Position Assessment offers you a moment to pause and reflect on those deep beliefs. It’s not about right or wrong, but about seeing which “position” you tend to stand in, and how that colors the way you live and relate.

TA describes four classic life positions:

  • I’m OK, You’re OK
  • I’m OK, You’re not OK
  • I’m not OK, You’re OK
  • I’m not OK, You’re not OK

And expanded variants:

  • I’m OK, I must fix you'
  • I’m NOT OK, You must carry me
  • I’m OK, The world is broken
  • I’m NOT OK, Life is NOT OK

These positions are not fixed, but they shape how you see yourself and others, often without noticing. By taking the assessment, you get insight into your default stance and the chance to explore what shifts could open more balanced, life-giving ways of being.

This self-assessment isn’t just another “fun personality quiz.” It’s a reality check.

  • Maybe you’ll discover you’ve been playing the underdog in your own story.
  • Or that deep down, you think everyone else is the problem (ouch).
  • Or maybe, surprise!, you’ll find you’re actually doing better than you give yourself credit for.

Whatever the outcome, you’ll walk away with sharper self-awareness, a few eye-opening insights, and probably a chuckle or two at your own expense.

Fair warning: it might explain why you lose patience in traffic, why your boss always pushes your buttons, or why you re-run the same conversations in your head at 3 a.m.

This is not an official TA test, but a tool to support personal insight.
